The CIPR's legal support services range depending on the needs of our clients. These needs range from drafting legal documents and conducting legal research, to supporting our clients' litigation needs.

 

The CIPR does not directly represent clients. The CIPR maintains an active roster of pro bono attorneys who dedicate their time and energy to supporting the legal needs of Indigenous peoples. The CIPR provides the behind-the-scenes support for the pro bono attorneys. The CIPR also provides financial assistance for legal services as cost is often a barrier for Indigenous communities.
